How do I become a customer?

Welcome! Jacobson is New England’s largest floral hard-goods importer and distributor, and as such we are a B2B wholesaler and only sell to registered customers. If you are a retail florist, designer or other eligible customer, you may visit our Register page to register with us online, or visit us to register in person at our store in Boston, MA. If you have any questions while setting up your account, email us at sales@jacobsonfloral.com.

Do you have an order minimum?

Yes, our minimum for online orders is $150 USD.

How do I view what products you carry?

You can browse our product line at www.shopjacobson.com. Pricing will be displayed only if you are logged in to your account.

When will an out-of-stock item be available?

If you have specific questions about a product or the availability of an item, you can contact our sales department by emailing sales@jacobsonfloral.com or by calling 800-262-0500 ext 1. Our sales team is available from 6:30am-4pm ET.

Can you send me a catalog in the mail?

Jacobson offers our catalogs online to provide a more eco-friendly and efficient shopping experience. Please visit our Catalogs page. Our interactive online catalogs provide our customers with all the latest product offerings and most up-to-date pricing.

Billing and Payment

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept major credit cards for online orders. We also accept Net/30 terms for qualified accounts.

When will my credit card be charged?

For online orders, your card will be charged when you complete check out. For orders placed with a sales rep over the phone, cardholders may be charged 1-2 business days prior to shipping. This ensures fewer backorders and a faster processing time on the day of shipment.

Sales Tax

Why am I being charged sales tax?

If you’re a Massachusetts business, sales tax applies to your orders through our website. Federal Law mandates that a vendor with a store or branch in a state that charges sales tax is obligated to collect sales tax from online orders from customers within those states. Therefore, Jacobson must charge sales tax on online orders.

Do you accept Tax Exempt Certificates?

Yes, we accept the following Tax Exempt certificates: ST-4, ST-5, and ST-12. Shipping and Delivery

Do you offer local delivery within New England?

Yes, Jacobson is pleased to offer delivery within our New England routes for qualifying orders over $150 USD. If your order exceeds $150 USD but does not qualify for any reason, a Jacobson representative may call you to discuss other shipping or pick-up options. If your delivery address is within our routes, you will see “Jacobson Truck” as a carrier option at checkout. The local delivery charge changes based on the order total. Local orders between $150-$400 will have a $25 delivery charge. Local orders over $400 qualify for free delivery! Residential addresses may be subject to additional shipping charges.

Can you ship to addresses outside your local delivery routes?

Yes, we use UPS, Fedex, and other carriers for areas outside our local delivery routes and within the 48 contiguous states. Standard shipping rates apply. Note: Unfortunately, we cannot ship less than a full pallet for items such as glass, pottery, preservatives, branches, etc. via UPS or Fedex. Please contact a Jacobson representative if you have any questions or would like to discuss a non-standard shipping option.

Do you offer shipping outside of the 48 contiguous states?

Yes, we do! Worldwide shipping rates apply to deliveries to areas outside the 48 contiguous states (Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Canada, etc.). These areas are not included in any "Free Standard Shipping" promotions.

What should I do if I have special shipping needs?

We’re here to help! It's best to speak with a sales representative for any non-standard shipping requests or questions.

Return Policy

Can I return items?

Yes, we accept returned merchandise with a few restrictions: All claims for returned merchandise must be made within 30 days of purchase and are subject to approval by a Jacobson representative. Items must be unused and in their original packaging to be eligible for return. Returned merchandise may be subject to a 15% handling fee. Refunds for eligible products will be distributed as a merchandise credit. Refunds for damaged products or products received in error will be issued to the original form of payment.

Are there any items I cannot return?

Sale, Display, Trees, Sample, Special Order, and Seasonal Products are non-returnable.

How do I return something I bought in-store?

For products purchased in-store, you may visit the customer service desk to request merchandise credit. Please be sure to have your invoice with you or a service fee will be applied towards your credit.

How do I return something I bought online or had delivered?

For online purchases or deliveries, please contact a Jacobson representative to initiate a return. Depending on the reason for your return, your location, and other factors, the representative will advise you of your options for merchandise credit or exchange.

Hours and Location

What are your store hours?

Regular Store Hours: Mon–Fri: 6:00 am–1:00 pm, Sat: 7:00 am–12:00 pm (Closed in July and August), Sunday: Closed. We are closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day.

How do I get to your store from the South of Boston?

Take 93 North to Exit 15B (Massachusetts Avenue). Get in the left lane and go through the first set of lights. Make a left at the second set of lights. Merge to the right. Make a right at the next set of lights onto Massachusetts Avenue. At the next set of lights make a right onto Albany Street. Continue on Albany Street, Jacobson will be on your right side in the same parking lot as Quinlan-Wasserman Wholesale Florist.

How do I get to your store from the North of Boston?

Take 93 South to Exit 18 (Mass Ave), and take a right at the lights. Take a right onto Massachusetts Ave. Take another right at Albany Street. Continue on Albany Street, Jacobson will be on your right side in the same parking lot as Quinlan-Wasserman Wholesale Florist.

How do I get to your store from the West of Boston?

Take 90 East towards Boston. Take Exit 134C on the left (93 South towards Quincy). From 93 South, take Exit 18 (Mass Ave), and take a right at the lights. Take a right onto Massachusetts Ave. Take a right to Albany Street. Continue on Albany Street, Jacobson will be on your right side in the same parking lot as Quinlan-Wasserman Wholesale Florist.

What if I’m nervous about driving into Boston?

Our store in Boston is on the outskirts of the city, conveniently located right off Route 93 and the Mass Pike (Route 90) with easy on and off access. You can’t miss us with our big green banner around our building. Come visit us and you’ll see that it wasn’t difficult at all!

Do you have parking?

Yes! Our Boston store has 150 parking spaces available in front of the store for your shopping convenience.
